Jones & Sons is a classic British restaurant & cocktail bar, founded by Andy Jones, alongside Richard Priestley & Milika Muritu of Cell Studios, in 2013. It’s a place to meet, eat, and drink, with an emphasis on well prepared honest British food of the highest quality & artisan cocktails from around the world.
Open for dinner from 6pm Tuesday - Thursday and lunch and dinner Friday - Sunday. Jones & Sons over the weekend is the place to be, with their famous Bottomless Brunch filling up weeks in advance, and their legendary Sunday roast has been featured in the Evening Standard as #7 on their list of the “Top 25 restaurants for Sunday Lunch”, and more recently GQ put us in the top 3 in their “Sunday Lunch Guide”.
This successful N16 restaurant goes out of its way to serve food that is sourced with integrity and cooked cleverly by Head Chef Kieran Hope. Kieran has been Head Chef at Jones & Sons from day one, having previously worked at a number of East London Culinary institutions including Bistrotheque, Le Pont de la Tour and Hix. Menus are written seasonally and are changed every six to seven weeks.
In October 2016 Andy was given the opportunity to take over an amazing restaurant space on Gillett Street, N16 – an opportunity which he grabbed with both hands. Jones & Sons is now an imposing 4000 sq ft main restaurant and cocktail Bar with an impressive function room serving a wonderful host of clientele from North and East London. The main restaurant features an open kitchen, 11-metre Carrara marble bar top and an original rose wood 1950s Poul Cadovius 'Royal System' shelving unit as the bar display.
The attention to detail is everywhere, with lights having been sourced from a marine salvage specialist in Exeter, a hand poured concrete/resin mix floor, and a chef’s table for those who want to be comfortably close to the action – the upshot being a very personal reflection of the vision of the people who created Jones & Sons.
With space for 90 covers in the main restaurant and 80 in the function room, Jones & Sons offers full table service and is a grown-up departure from the clamour of the vibrant late-night Kingsland Road institutions. Weddings and other events at Jones & Sons have become a regular occurrence. The team also host up to 15 external weddings a year, delivering beautiful days for couples all over London, over the past four years.
