Jones & Sons is a classic British restaurant & cocktail bar, open for dinner Tuesday to Sunday evenings & for Lunch & Brunch on Friday, Saturday & Sunday, with a wide range of carefully sourced and prepared food, wine & cocktails.
After spending the first three and a half years at our original site in Arcola Street, we were presented with the opportunity to move to a bigger and better restaurant space in Dalston. We obviously jumped at the chance, and in October 2016 Jones & Sons was re-born on Gillett Street.
We are still Open for Dinner from 6pm Tuesday - Thursday and Lunch & Dinner Friday - Sunday. It’s a place to meet, eat, and have the odd drink too, with an emphasis on well-made British food of the highest quality & artisan cocktails from around the world.
Jones & Sons over the weekend is the place to be, with our famous Bottomless Brunch filling up weeks in advance, and our Sunday Roast has been featured in the Evening Standard as #7 on their list of the top 25 restaurants for Sunday Lunch, and more recently GQ put us in the top 3 in their Sunday Lunch guide.

Jones & Sons – A Potted History
The Old Jones & Sons, Arcola Street
A near derelict blank canvas when Andy Jones they took over the keys to the original Arcola Street site, the brains behind Jones & Sons locked horns to push interior directions around the table. Remaining sympathetic to the building’s industrial heritage, but plucking influences from post-war Danish design & commercial maritime salvage - even a classic Italian deli counter to take the form of a 12 foot high white and stainless steel pitched roofed kitchen that dominates the space; a cooking lodge housed within the white brick walls. Andy, with original business partners Richard Priestley & Milika Muritu of Cell Projects, helped build the restaurant from derelict to operational in just 5 weeks before opening in the Summer of 2013.
The New Jones & Sons, Stamford Works, Gillett Street
In October 2016 Andy was given the opportunity to take over an amazing restaurant space on Gillett Street – an opportunity which he grabbed with both hands. Jones & Sons is now an imposing 4000 sq ft main restaurant and cocktail Bar with an impressive function room. The main restaurant features an open kitchen, 11-metre Carrara marble bar top and an original rose wood 1950s Poul Cadovius 'Royal System' shelving unit as the bar display.
The attention to detail is everywhere, with lights having been sourced from a marine salvage specialist in Exeter, a hand poured concrete/resin mix floor, and a chef’s table for those who want to be comfortably close to the action – the upshot being a very personal reflection of the vision of the people who created Jones & Sons.
With space for 90 covers in the main restaurant and and 70 in the function room, Jones & Sons offers full table service and is a grown-up departure from the clamor of the vibrant late-night Kingsland Road institutions.
Jones & Sons Outside Catering
In 2014 Andy Jones launched the outside catering arm of Jones & Sons. Starting with one van and a few contacts in the world of photography, the business has now grown to serve a myriad of local studios with breakfast, lunch and afternoon snacks. We also service countless tv, film & photographic producers all over London and have a small fleet of vehicles delivering hot, freshly made delicious food daily, all over the capital. Our menu changes every 2 months, and all bookings go through our dedicated catering team. For orders or info email email@example.com
